The Class Ambassador Program was developed to foster a sense of affinity among their class year and towards Grinnell College. Two individuals from each class year are selected to serve as the class ambassadors for their respective year. Class ambassadors are selected through an open application process facilitated by the three key drivers of the program (Student Government Association, Student Alumni Council, and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations). Individuals serve a one-year term and may reapply for additional terms if they so choose. First Year Class Ambassadors are chosen second semester through an application process.

Peony Teo: Hey! My name is Peony Teo. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and excitedly thought I would try living in the cornfields! I am a political science and intended Russian major. I love nutella, going to the gym, and Grinnell’s synchronized swimming club! Please feel free to come say hi to me whenever and especially during office hours, I love chit chat!
Rachel Hinkley: Hey All! My name’s Rachel and I’m an independent major in Higher Education here. Like Peony, I was born and raised in New York State. When I’m not singing with the Grinnell Singers or walking backwards around campus with awe-struck prospies, you can find me chilling with my friends at spoon carving, in the Darkroom, or at the Maker Lab. Find Peony and I in the Grill to say “Hi” or just stop me in the halls!
