Mission Statement

All Campus Events Student Safety (ACESS) is a student-based organization used to provide Grinnell campus with an informed, effective and sensitive, and professional resource during campus-wide events. Our goal is to retain, recruit, and nurture the most respected members from the student body in order to promote and uphold the standards for “self-governance.” ACESS staff members are trained to become thoughtful and caring leaders within the Grinnell community by fostering communication, community, and trust amongst our peers in order to provide Grinnell students a healthy and safe space to have fun.
